ITANAGAR, 20TH Apr: Despite restriction from Administration, Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) along with its all frontal wing staged a protest against cash crunch infront of SBI, Itanagar here on Friday.
Several members of APCC, APYC participated in the protest and criticized the BJP-led Centre as well as state government for putting common public under duress by creating a currency crisis.
Later, addressing the reporters at Rajiv Bhawan, Congress Chief Takam Sanjay slammed the BJP led state government for creating another demonetization like situation in the state. ‘Where is the all cash gone, people has regularly depositing cash in the banks but nobody knows where all those money gone, questioned Sanjay.
APCC Chief further allaged that the BJP government is indulging in skyrocketing corruption and embezzlement of more than Rs 200 crore in the name of Untied Fund is best example. Everybody knows well that in whose pocket all this funds gone. While, appealing common public to come forward against cash crunch, Sanjay opined that Congress is not going to spare anyone and APCC will soon file PIL against misappropriation of fund by the BJP led state government’.
Earlier on Thursday , Deputy Commissioner Capital complex has declared the protest as unconstitutional and uncalled for which may lead to an unpleasant situation.
