ITANAGAR, May 3: Governor of Arunachal Pradesh BD Mishra visited the newly created f Kamle District on Thursday. He was accompanied by the First Lady of the State Neelam Mishra and other official.
Interacting with people at Raga, Governor called upon the people to contribute towards improving the literacy rate of the State. Child above the age of six years must be sent to school, particularly the girl child, added Governor.
Overwhelmed by the scenic beauty of the area, Mishra said there is many scope for eco and adventure tourism .Informing about vacancies in the Police and Army, the Governor requested the people, Public leaders, PRI members and Gaon Burahs to motivate the youth to avail the opportunities.
Among others, Local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Animal Husbandry & Veterinary and Dairy Development, Tamar Murtem, Arunachal Pradesh State Forest Corporation Chairman, Talo Mugli and representatives of Panchayati Raj institute, Gaon Burahs, NGOs and students also attended the programme.
