ITANAGAR, Feb 10: In a delightful moment for the Kui Village under Kimin Circle of Papumpare district, Minister for Urban Development and local MLA.,Nabam Rebia has fulfilled the long felt demand of road connectivity . Attending the small but impressive ceremony arranged by villagers, Rebia informed that within a year entire construction of road would be completed followed by construction of permanent bridges. This road purely under central government of Interstate connectivity and state government is only the watchdog. He further informed that 8Km road from Kakoi to Kiu village was approved in 2015-16 financial year under the Inter State Road Connectivity with estimate cost of Rs 21 crore. ‘Proposal are in queue for road connection upto last village ‘Lali’ of my constituency’, however am glad because , “Last time I visited this village oby foot and today it’s became motorable which is a great achievement,” said Rebia While responding to the memorandum submitted by villagers, Rebia also assured for Ambulance service, Electricity connectivity and alternatives of potable water in four villages namely Kui, Keden, Dirgha and Boginadi He also directed the Circle officers and DDSE to have visit in the schools of the villages and also to take care of the census of the villagers . Further, stressing on the important of flora and fauna, he exhorted villagers to refrain the culture of hunting wild animals and random deforestation of jungle, which indirectly imbalance the ecological system. Expressing his gratefulness to UD Minister Head Gao Burah, Kakoi, Tarak Pim informed that people of aforesaid villages were living without road connection for last 10 years. In due course of time people were facing innumerable problems in summer season, especially in case of medical emergency, he added.
