ITANAGAR,26th Apr: In the wake of devastating storm of Wednesday night, Senior, state BJP Vice President, Tame Phassang visited storm affected people of Tarajuli village under papumpare district were more than 18 houses were damaged. He also met the affected people of Papunalah, Donyi Colony-Itanagar and Gohpur.
Phassang also contributed some cash amount as immediate relief from his own expenses and packed water to the victims’ families.
Speaking to the victims at Tarajuly , Phassang assured to carry forward the message to the state government regarding losses that occurred due to storm. He also urged the Deputy Commissioner and concern department to have a visit in remote Tarajuly and to make proper assessment on all the losses as well to provide adequate compensation to the victims.
Further, Phssang also appealed the Chief Minister Pema Khandu to direct the concern department to be extra cautious during such calamities and to give preference to the remote areas.
‘we have lost our CGI sheets used as roof last night and with fear of heavy rain our family has to spent night at bathroom made of concrete ‘said a victim Tapor Baki from Tarajuly he further extended gratitude to the Phassang for extending financial help during the needs.
Appreciating the noble gesture of Phassang, another victim Gichik Rakesh also urged the government to confer immediate relief to the victims of Donyi colony were more than dozens houses were lost in the storm.
Meanwhile, BJP-Vice President also visited the victim of fire incident Langfu Tayak at Gohpur whose house was lost in the inferno due to short-circuit that occurred during heavy storm.
