ITANAGAR, May 3: Chief Minister Pema Khandu called on President, Medical Council of India (MCI) Dr Jayshree Mehta at New Delhi and advocated for early operationalization of the state’s first medical college Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Science (TRIHMS).
During his meeting, Khandu presented details on the current status of infrastructure development as well as administrative and faculty set up of the TRIHMS. He also assured the MCI that required guidelines will be positively met and fulfilled.
The MCI President appreciated the consistent persistence of the Chief Minister and assured all help.
The Chief Minister was alos accompanied by Principal Resident Commissioner Jeetendra Narayan and Health Commissioner Kaling Tayeng.
